Up early to have breakfast (toast, juice, fruit) at 8:00 a.m. in order to get the boat to the cave trip that was included in our vacation package. It takes you to the caves where Brooke Shields filmed Blue Lagoon.

Not the sunniest of mornings – but fun nonetheless :)
We hopped on Joes Water Taxi which took us to the caves.. about a 30 minute boat ride.. the lifejackets stunk! Gorgeous views though on our ride over.
Got to the caves and had to dive under rocks to get to the lagoon. Pretty nerve wracking.
You basically dropped your stuff and jumped in – it was amazing!!!
We borrowed goggles from some girls and were able to swim under the rocks and into a smaller cave with no opening at the top.. so beautiful!
After about an hour there we all headed back into the boats.. now it had started raining!
We talked to some girls from Melbourne (Simone and Rachel) on the way back and got absolutely soaked. Whatever, we're in Fiji!
Thankfully, it stopped raining when we got back so we had a quick shower and headed to the main house for lunch – sausage sandwich
Afterwards, it heated up so we headed to the beach again!
We swam out farther than usual to some rocks only to find some beautiful coral and a bright blue starfish! He felt like suede so I named him Elvis hahahaha!!!
We swam for a bit and then had a nap on the beach.. apparently I snored
Woke up to a female dog playing in the water.. not sure if she was a stray.. but she was having the most fun chasing after the fish and swimming around
Honestly, this is the laziest holiday ever.. hahaha
Went back to the room.. showered.. saw how sunburnt we were.. saw a chicken drinking our water for our feet (a bowl is outside our bure to rinse our feet before we come in).. decided to sit in the shade..and found some chairs out the front of the resort to read.. I wasn’t comfy so I went back to the room to nap
Woke up at 7.. went for dinner (another buffet) at 7:30 p.m. and sat with 2 Danish girls named Joe and Matilda.. they studied at uni in Townsville.. nice girls!
The activity tonight was “international crab walk” so we ran away after dinner.. hahah
Geckos talk throughout the night.. cheeky little things. xo
