Just jammin' out to some old Elton John. It's Good Friday! Today I honestly just rested and did chores.. a lot of people are drinking/going out tonight, but I'm old fashioned and don't think it's good to drink today.

I started packing for our road trip to Sydney! We leave Monday morning and will get back Friday night! We rented a car from Budget. Larry & Alysha will be joining Jess & I for the drive down and will be flying back because Alysha works Friday morning. I'm pretty excited. We'll be stopping in some great places like Byron Bay and Bondi Beach. We have a bit of a list of stuff we'd like to do. It'll be awesome driving too!! Gosh, we're crazy kids!

Tonight Larry & Alysha came over to sort things out for Monday and for our potluck Easter dinner on Sunday. It ended up being a hilarious night. We cut up all the magazines/newspapers we had and made a "Hot Boy" wall in our hallway. It's so hilarious. I don't think we even cared if they were good-looking.. as long as they were boys. hahaha! Good times and good laughs.

Have I mentioned lately that I need a job? No? Well, I do.

My friend Matt, who lives in Manitoba currently, flew home to see his family for Easter this weekend. I can't tell you how jealous I am. I want to be able to fly home!!! Poop. Lucky Matt.. have a good weekend, love!

Jess & I went to Australia Fair on Thursday (I guess that would be yesterday.. lol) and did a bit of shopping. We bought a workout ball, Easter chocolates, girlie magazines and Austin Powers 3-pack dvd. How random are we? Most buildings here have a gym and pool in them. Ours doesn't, but now we have a ball and the ocean!!! lol We win. We also got milkshakes. Mmmm, I love the milkshakes here. So bad for me!!!

My Mom calls me almost everyday. It's so nice. It's like she's so close. I miss her a lot, but hearing her voice makes it easier. I wish I could do that with everyone. I'm going to look into buying a calling card. It's so weird here though because all the stores that sell the calling cards have asian workers who don't speak English. Great. I'm worried I'd end up with a calling card to Taiwan or somewhere. I'll go on a English-calling card hunt!! lol

Ohmigosh, random fact - Australian calendars go Monday to Sunday instead of like home where it's Sunday to Monday. I don't know it's just random. I tried putting in some events on my phone and ended up putting them on the wrong day. I fail! lol

Also, I cannot find graham crackers or cherry pie filling here. This is ridiculous. I need to make a cheesecake!!! That's it, tomorrow I'm on a hunt.. calling cards and crackers.. lol

Have I mentioned lately that I need my hair done? No? Well, I do.

I miss my Mom! I miss my Nanny! I miss my Brother! I miss my Auntie Ann! I miss my Daddy-O! I miss my Boo! I miss my Bia! I miss my Beembascheembabimbabumbum! .. I miss everyone. I wish all my friends & family could come visit. This is such an amazing country with so much to see. I can't wait for certain people to come visit!! :D

Anyway, this was a ramble-ish blog. But, I like to keep you all up-to-date!
