Well I'm off to Fraser Island in the morning!
I will miss my bed for a week.. and showers.. hahaha I promise to be safe. I bought bug spray and I have a poncho.. I'm so ready!!!

Parklife 2010
It was so good. I loved it. I'm still exhausted so here's the highlights in point form.
-caught free shuttle to Brisbane after working from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m.
-almost refused entry at PL because security dude thought my licence was expired.. ugh
-did my hair real nice, then it rained..
-.. at least my outfit was super cute!
-met up with friends from Byron Bay :)
-drinks were at cheapest $10.. I only had one drink all day
-this festival was MY music.. like 100%
-I was the only human there not tripping out on acid or ecstasy..
-..BUT I enjoyed myself nonetheless!
-front row for Dan Black and Yolanda Be Cool vs. Dcup
-saw Kele, UFFIE, Missy Elliott and so many amazing acts/djs
-broke my purse and my shoes are in the garbage
-so.much.mud.
-happy I went to a famous Australian music festival!
-I love to dance I could dance all day
-caught free shuttle back to Surfers
-10 hours of amazingness.. hahahaha thank you Mom <3

Kare Bear & Wilmer = Love
Hello Kara Fischer. I love you and your new hat. Just so you know. The End.
It's FRIDAY!!! Phung-a-lung, last day of class for a week! Again, just sitting outside enjoying the first day of sunshine in like a week! SO GORGEOUS!
Oh, and Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad! I love you both! If you guys see them on the 23rd, wish them a Happy Anniversary!
Alright, here come the boat cruise pictures.
On Sunday, September 19th.. I woke up at 7:30 a.m. to shower and get ready for the pre-drink breakfast we were hosting. I felt like total crap!!! But, once everyone came over and we all started eating and laughing, I felt better!!!
There were about 15 of us in total at our place. We had scrambled eggs, toast, jello, vodka fruit, etc. It was awesome. Afterwards we all hopped on a bus and went to the docks near Seaworld. Whooohoo!!! This boat is so big. We danced, played flip cup, sang, etc.

Okay, I'm back. So yeah, we stayed at Fishos for a while and scored double nachos (Thanks Fran!) and just had way fun. The rain held off until we got there, so that was amazing!!

I'm a gLeek
I have no problem admitting it. Did you guys watch the premier? It was pretty good.. I wish I was here next week to see the Britney Spears episode!!! I LOVE Brit Brit. Oh well! So glad I can watch it here!!
I need to lose weight. Seriously. I can't stop eating here. I can't wait to come home and start going back to the gym and not eating as much. I told Jess today that I think I didn't eat as much back home because Mom & Dad would make food I didn't like sometimes so I wouldn't eat. Meeeeeow!
Jess is making our boat cruise album on Facebook right now. I've also collected pictures from other people's albums so I'll be posting those soon and letting you all know how Sunday was!!!
There's a new ferris wheel down the street on top of the Surfers Paradise Bus Station. It took them like 1 week to build and it's opening soon! It's like the one in Brisbane that Robert and I went on when he came to visit. Who wants to be my date? Mom? Want to take me on it? YOU DO??? I love you!!! hahahaha!
I work tomorrow (Thursday) morning which is great! More hours equals more monaaeeeyyyyy!!! xo

P.S. I'm sick
Yes. For like a week I've been sick. Crappy cold-like stuff. Couldn't let it interfere in my birthday celebrations though!!! Now, I'm just going to take it easy for the next week until I leave for Fraser Island next Monday! I'm so excited! My boss' were nice enough to let me have it off.. I'll be back for the weekend though, so I guess they're happy about that!!!
So, from Monday to.. omg, okay, I have to just put it in here that the WORST rendition of "Dancing Queen" is playing at the Coffee Bug.. it's like acappella and it's HORRIBLE.. omg, please change it.. SERIOUS!!!
SO, from Monday to Friday I'll be in Fraser. On the Friday morning, we get to feed dolphins.. I'm so excited. I just have to grocery shop and we have to book a car and then we're off!!! Weee!!! I bought these $5 portable fold-up (yes, really) speakers that I'll bring with us so we have some tunes! YAY!
This Saturday I work 7-11 a.m. and then I'm off to Brissy for PARKLIFE!!! It's a big music festival with acts like Missy Elliott, Uffie, Yolanda Be Cool, Kele, Dan Black, etc. SO INDIE.. SO AWESOME! I'm meeting up with people I met in the Whitsundays.. it should be a ton of fun!
Hmm, what else. I've noticed that I haven't bought as many clothes here as I would have back home being a student and working part-time.. hmm, could that be because I go on the most awesome adventures/trips and would rather spend money on that??? Why, yes!!! ALSO.. My Visa is EMPTY.. and I've been paying for everything lately with my Australian bank account.. HELLO AWESOME!!!.. although, I should get my hair done soon.. poop :(

Back again at school outside the Student Centre enjoying the weather. We've actually had record-breaking rainfall these pass few days. Apparently, after they suffered a huge earthquake weeks ago, a huge storm has fallen upon New Zealand killing thousands of livestock and crops. The storm is the size of Australia and has just dropped heaps of snow on the country. Oh boy.
So we're getting the rain-bits of that storm. So random! But, right now.. no rain.. just clouds!
Well, I had the birthday of a lifetime this past weekend. Thursday, Friday and Sunday I celebrated down under. I had so much fun. Friday was wonderful. Starting at Surf Club for Happy Hour then heading to the Focus' bbq area. It was so fun!!!
This is Michelle and I. We had a blast celebrating together.. Please keep in mind this was nearing the end of the night.. yikes!!! hahah

Decorations, Delicious Food, Dainty Girls
Oh hello!
Well, it's been a perfect birthday week, and it's not over yet! Tonight is my joint birthday celebration with my friend Michelle Freer. Her bday is on the 18th, mine on the 16th.. we thought it would only make sense to celebrate together!
Yesterday (the 16th) I woke up to my apartment decorated to the 9's. I started crying because it was so thoughtful of Jess to go out her way to do that for me.
After that, I went to uni for a group meeting, which went really well, and then I came home to my mailbox STUFFED with cards from friends and family back home. I opened them and of course, started crying again.. this time because I missed them!!! hahaha such a cry baby!
The rest of the day, Jess and I cooked/baked in the kitchen and got everything ready for the potluck. The girls were coming over at 6:30 and I was so excited.
When they came, they all brought gifts along with their delish food. Gifts, seriously. These girls are so thoughtful!! We all had fun playing with the party favours (thanks to Jess) and just laughing over dumb things. SO much fun.
We then went to the grand opening of Vanity Nightclub. It was a great night and I'm super excited for tonight as well! xo
