Terrific Tuesday

Good Morrow Friends and Family!

Just sitting outside the Student Centre enjoying the sunshine on my break!

Yesterday I had my Advertising and Creative Strategies mid-semester exam. I think I did really well. It was pretty basic stuff from when I went to Mohawk. Yay! This Friday I have my Media Law essay due which I'm kind of concerned about.. but, hopefully will get it done a.s.a.p.!

Omg, so last night I booked my flights to Melbourne and bought my tickets for the Melbourne Cup!!! I'm SO excited! We got a great deal on flights and the tickets for the race aren't that horrible! We leave on the 1st of November and come back the 5th .. that's our study week, so no classes! The Melbourne Cup is on the 2nd and is the biggest race in Australia.. I can't believe it.. so excited.. then my MOMMY comes down!!!

This month is also full of fun.

Next Thursday I'm having about 8 girls over for a Birthday Potluck dinner. Friday I'm having my Birthday night out on the town. Sunday, I'm going on T.I.T.S. (Team Island Tall Ships) cruise again! OMG! What a weekend!!!

The 25th, I'm going to Parklife (big outdoor festival music fun thing.. Mom got it for my birthday :D )

THEN (I know.. just deep breaths ahahha) for our Mid-Semester Break (SPRING BREAK) we're going to Fraser Island!!!

Fraser Island stretches over 123 kilometres in length and 22 kilometres at its widest point. With an area of 184 000 hectares it is the largest sand island in the world.

Fraser Island's World Heritage listing ranks it with Australia's Uluru, Kakadu and the Great Barrier Reef. Fraser Island is a precious part of Australia's natural and cultural heritage, it is protected for all to appreciate and enjoy.

Fraser island is a place of exceptional beauty, with its long uninterrupted white beaches flanked by strikingly coloured sand cliffs, and over 100 freshwater lakes, some tea-coloured and others clear and blue all ringed by white sandy beaches. Ancient rainforests grow in sand along the banks of fast-flowing, crystal-clear creeks.

Fraser Island is the only place in the world where tall rainforests are found growing on sand dunes at elevations of over 200 metres. The low "wallum" heaths on the island are of particular evolutionary and ecological significance, and provide magnificent wildflower displays in spring and summer.

HELLO AMAZING.. so basically, we drive there from Surfers, rent a 4wheel drive vehicle and giv'er!!! I'm so pumped! A lot of students here have been before and absolutely adored it. I'm pumped. I think this will be better than Adelaide because I can just hang out in my bathing suit for a week hahahaha!

My nails are really nice right now.. they're french manicured (by yours truly.. I'm talented) and I really don't feel like doing this essay.. UGGGGH..seriously! I also have massive roots and need another hair appointment..

I also didn't want to share this, but, I will.. I'll be home in exactly 3 months.. I'm expecting a grand reception haha kidding xo
