Well, it's been a perfect birthday week, and it's not over yet! Tonight is my joint birthday celebration with my friend Michelle Freer. Her bday is on the 18th, mine on the 16th.. we thought it would only make sense to celebrate together!
Yesterday (the 16th) I woke up to my apartment decorated to the 9's. I started crying because it was so thoughtful of Jess to go out her way to do that for me.
After that, I went to uni for a group meeting, which went really well, and then I came home to my mailbox STUFFED with cards from friends and family back home. I opened them and of course, started crying again.. this time because I missed them!!! hahaha such a cry baby!
The rest of the day, Jess and I cooked/baked in the kitchen and got everything ready for the potluck. The girls were coming over at 6:30 and I was so excited.
When they came, they all brought gifts along with their delish food. Gifts, seriously. These girls are so thoughtful!! We all had fun playing with the party favours (thanks to Jess) and just laughing over dumb things. SO much fun.
We then went to the grand opening of Vanity Nightclub. It was a great night and I'm super excited for tonight as well! xo
