OMGGGG SO TIRED

I worked 11 hours today. Yes, it was voluntary.. BUT I can still be tired and complain on MY blog hahaha. It was Jamie's (girl I work with) birthday today so I took her shift for her. What can I say, I don't mind the paychecks that come in!

Now It's Saturday night and I'm having a night in. Chance to catch up on emails, messages and reading. How exciting!

LAST NIGHT, Francis and I found the best spot in Surfers Paradise. It's called Ruby Tramp. It plays music that reminds me of Absinthe in Hamilton and Dance Cave in Toronto. It was so refreshing!!! I just danced and didn't worry about creepy guys coming up behind me to try and dance.. everyone just did their own thing and had fun with it.. Ugh! I was so happy!!!

In other news, I have one more mid-term to go. Monday: Fame and Celebrity. Sounds easy, but, I know it won't be. It's going to be a lot of theory application. Oh boy, say another prayer for me please!!

Today is September 11th. Nine years after the attacks. Can you believe it? I remember exactly where I was when I heard about it. I was in gym class, outdoors playing tennis. I remember coming home that day and every single channel was reporting on it. I remember bursting out crying when I watched the plane hit the 2nd tower.

What an awful day.

However, isn't it amazing that 9 years after that horrible day, people around the world are still doing efforts to raise funds for the families affected and for fallen firefighters/police officers/emergency response teams. I read today in the paper of firefighters climbing the highest building in Brisbane to raise funds for charity. It also gives them an idea of what some of the rescue workers went through that day.. some of them climbed to the 80th floor of the towers to try and rescue people. 80 floors. Unreal.

I will never forget that day. My thoughts are honestly with all those families who lost a loved one that day. I couldn't even imagine.

Well, this blog went from somewhat exciting to deep and emotional.
Whatever, it's a day in history I know most of us won't forget. We can all take time out to think of those affected. xo
