There was a party going on at Metro. The student accommodation village near the uni where Vlad and Jimmy live. We hadn't planned on going there because there was ANOTHER party held by the Canadian Students Association at Billy Beach House - a 2 minute walk from my apartment. So, Jess & I decided to throw a little party at Kinkabool prior to going to Billys.
We had tablecloths, napkins, flags, maple candies, Canadian animal cookies, tattoos, red & white cupcakes (made by yours truly) red food colouring (for our drinks) music, the whole bit. It was amazing. People started showing up all over the place. Such a good vibe!!! It was also SUNNY and gorgeous that day!
Every hour, on the hour we would all sing the National Anthem.. which is the funniest thing you've ever heard with 20+ intoxicated students singing it. Omg, so much fun. I had red lipstick on, and everyone wanted some. There was so much red and white everywhere, it made me so happy.
Apparently, while everyone was partying, I left my place to run to Billys to get a free Caesar. I don't even like Caesars. But, Billys was making them just for us today and having cheap poutine as well! A Canadians Dream!! hahahah! Gosh, too much fun.
Of course, after a few noise complaints, we headed down the street to Billys. Honestly, I do not remember Billys. Sad, I know. But, apparently everyone loved my patrioticism (if that's even a word..) and said I was such a happy drunk.
Next thing I know, I'm waking up the next day. Happy Canada Day!!! hehehe xo
