Although we had our rough moments over the past week or so, I really was sad to see Robert leave. Poop.
Okay, so we decided to buy Mom's birthday present in Australia. We had been looking over the past week at all the shops we went to, but nothing stood out to us. We shopped all around Surfers today and Robert bought his souveniers from shops on Cavill Ave and afterwards we took a lunch break at Sushi Train. I had promised to take him there before he got here so we decided to go on the last day of course!!! It was yum yum.
Sushi Train - Done. Now we had to find Mom's present. We went into this plaza thing that has Tiffanys, Coach, etc. Just to look around. We ended up finding a store that sells gorgeous Australian Opal jewelry. We spotted a white opal necklace that looked perfect for Mom. We got it. Yay!!! Now Mom would have something beautiful from Australia from the both of us on her birthday! I was a happy kid.
After we got home and packed all of Roberts stuff up, Alysha called and said she wanted to have Robert and I over for dinner. I was so surprised! Robert and I got dressed up and headed on over.. it turns out they had this whole thing planned and we got to make our own stir fry!!! They had bought so much stuff for us to make it with! I couldn't believe how thoughtful they were. I love them. Not to mention, the stir fry was delicious.
That night, our friends Jody and Brendan were having a housewarming party for their new room mate at Circle on Cavill. This place is where rich people live so I was excited. They have a pool up there that has actual sand on the bottom. Omg, it's so nice. So the 4 of us went and Robert got to party with my friends/his new friends one last time. It was awesome.
After everyone got kicked out, we headed to Waxys and then Melbas. Then it was time for bed.
The next day, we were running a bit late, but fortunately met a cab driver who would drive us to the airport for a great price. We hung out at the airport and had Subway together. I stayed until his flight was boarding and cried. Hahaha I'm such a baby.
All in all, a great week. Didn't do the big trip I had originally planned, but, saw a lot of the Gold Coast. Thanks so much for coming to visit bro, I love and miss you!!! xo
